EYE EXAMINATIONS
WHAT HAPPENS IN AN EYE EXAMINATION?
We offer comprehensive eye examinations at our conveniently located practice in Netherton, Liverpool. With a core set of tests, one of our experienced optometrists will create a complete assessment of your visual status and eye health. Our eye examinations are carried out with the latest technology, including OCT, and are personalised for you to ensure that you get the care you need.
YOUR EYE HEALTH
Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to providing the best possible eye care available. Part of that is helping you to manage and improve your eye health. Aside from excellent testing facilities and products, our team will always take the time to give you up-to-date and personalised information on how to care for your eyes.
ENHANCED EYE EXAM WITH OCT TECHNOLOGY
We use the most advanced technology available to carry out our eye examinations. For example, our enhanced eye examinations include the use of an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scanner, which creates a digital image of the different layers that make up the back of the eye. This allows an optometrist to examine problematic areas in more detail and catch any conditions that might be developing. OCT scans offer peace of mind and are a recommended test for everyone.
EMERGENCY EYECARE
We offer an urgent eyecare service, known as CUES, to provide assessment, treatment or referral for sudden problems with your eyes. If you are experiencing any pain, redness, vision loss, blurring, flashes, floaters or a minor eye injury, give us a call and we will make an emergency appointment for you if needed.
You can use this service if you are registered with a GP in the area. This is not an eye test.
CATARACT ASSESSMENTS
Our Optometrists are able to diagnose cataracts during our eye examinations, which is one of the reasons why it is important to have a regular eye test. If required, we will organise a referral to a consultant for further investigation.
We offer a pre and post-operative cataract assessment service to thoroughly check the health of your eyes on behalf of your local eye hospital
